What makes exploration rewarding?
Reward is not always a collectible or a new ability. Sometimes it is the feeling that a space trusted the player enough to let them notice something for themselves.
curiosity / agencyA growing record of the observations, failures, and small decisions that shape how I design.

curiosity / agencyKeep the question stable, change one variable, and let the player response decide what survives.
iteration / playtestComplexity only feels deep after the first decision feels clear.
failure / learningA level is a conversation, not a corridor. The most useful paths are often the ones players invent after the intended path stops making sense.
agency / level designDifficulty becomes interesting when the player can name the decision they are struggling with. Without that clarity, friction is only noise.
balance / clarityEvery cut changes the experience. The producer's job is not to protect every idea, but to protect the idea that makes the project worth finishing.
scope / intentWhen players know what they can try next, uncertainty becomes curiosity. That small distinction changes the emotional temperature of a whole system.
